Christine Acosta has danced under the instruction of Professor Carol Ann Tubbs at California State University Dominguez Hills. In 2001, she graduated cum laude receiving a BA in Television Arts with a minor in dance. Currently she is studying towards a master’s degree in English Literature. She continues advancing her aspirations in dance by learning at San Pedro Ballet School. She has performed the roles of a party scene girl, a big soldier, Clara’s mother, the Chinese variation, and a snowflake in The Nutcracker. Having been an apprentice member for two years, the 2004 season marked her first year as a company member and her third performance in The Nutcracker.
